continuing from previous post..

So this project has been divided into three different subject areas: Drawing, Disperse printing & CAD. So far I've done disperse & drawing. We had to do 6 - 8 designs for fashion prints in the drawing section based on floral and abstraction. I'll post some photos of my disperse prints later on but for now here is some of my drawings (well, stitchings).

(apologies for the rubbish scanned quality)

Beginning of my first proper project...

Recently I finally got to start my first proper individual project at uni. It's florals & abstraction, so far we've had a week of drawing exercises to get us back into the flow of drawing as I totally lost it over the summer. I've been using a lot of machine embroidery as my drawing tool.

A little something I made earlier...

I wish I knew of a place I could get my hands on some really kitsch oil cloth style floral fabric samples because I love producing things like these little houses...

follow on from paper...

As a follow on from my first project about my problems with my paper project I thought I'd post some images of what I've came up with, let me know what you think or if you have any helpful ideas :)

past work

I thought I'd post some of my past work, in particular my last project on my foundation degree.

It was a print based project, and probably one of the only projects on that course that I enjoyed ha. It had to be based on one of 3 films; Life Aquatic, WOOL 100% and Perfume. I chose WOOL 100% and decided to look at clutter and bric a brac. I firstly started drawing items that I associated with clutter and then began scanning them in and developing them on photoshop, some prints I just used the original drawings and others I editted. Anyways, here's some of my prints & my development work, let me know what you think.

(P.S. for some reason a lot of my prints won't upload and the colours of them change once they do)

That''s all I can upload for now as the rest upload weird colours sorry!

paper paper paper.

I've been given a summer project on paper manipulation based on the city, finding it quite difficult actually. Was told to look for inspiration from people like peter callesen which just makes me slightly depressed.
